We’ll begin on Thursday, Sept. 24 with Coffee & Tea Conversations from 2:00-3:30/4:00 p.m. CT at the historic Conley House on Mizzou’s campus. If you’ve signed up, keep an eye out for an email with more details!

Our Welcome Dinner will be held Thursday, Sept. 24, 6:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. CT at Park Restaurant in Columbia.

The Conference will be held Friday, Sept. 25th from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. CT & Saturday, Sept. 26th from 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. CT at the University of Missouri School of Law. Breakfasts and lunches will be provided, as well as Thursday and Friday night dinners.

Saturday Excursions:  Participants who are staying later in the day or overnight on Saturday are invited to join one of our group excursions. More details to follow!

Our hotel blocks are at The Tiger Hotel in downtown Columbia, which is in walking distance to the School of Law, and TownePlace Suites by Marriott Columbia. Shuttle service will be provided for both locations. While The Tiger Hotel block is full, you can still book at the Marriott through Thursday, September 03, 2026.

The University of Missouri School of Law is located in the heart of Columbia, Missouri. Our new, spacious terminal at the Columbia Regional Airport (COU) is conveniently located approximately 20 minutes (14 miles) from the School of Law.

Columbia Regional Airport (COU) is served by both American Airlines and United Airlines with non-stop flights to Chicago O’Hare (ORD), Denver (DEN), Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) and Charlotte (CLT). In addition, Allegiant provides nonstop travel to Destin-Fort Walton Beach, FL (VPS) and Orlando, FL (MCO).

COU offers Rental Car Service (Alamo, Enterprise, and National) and Taxi Service. Rideshares (Uber and Lyft) between COU and downtown hotels or the School of Law typically run $35.00-$40.00 each way.

Conference participants who wish to fly into St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL)may make the trip to Columbia in approximately 2 hours (112 miles).

Participants flying into St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL) may travel to Columbia via the reliable and affordable MO-X Airport Shuttle, which provides door-to-door service for $135.00 round trip. For those who might prefer to drive, STL airport rental car options include (among others), Enterprise, Hertz, Budget, Thrifty, Avis, Alamo, and National.

The University of Missouri campus is a designated botanic garden and was ranked #5 in Business Insider’s listing of the “Top 14 Most Beautiful and Iconic American College Quads.”

The School of Law is located in the heart of campus and is adjacent to the vibrant Downtown Columbia Historic District and the Francis Quadrangle Historic District, both of which are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Our location affords walking access to coffee shops, restaurants, independent book stores, art galleries, shopping, hiking trails, and hotel accommodations.

Please email your presentation materials, which may include an abstract, draft article, and/or powerpoint slides, to us at csdr@missouri.edu by end of day on Friday, September 4th and we’ll upload them to the conference website.

No problem! Please reach out to us at csdr@missouri.edu with your new materials and we’ll make the replacements for you. We only ask that we receive updates to powerpoint slides or other audiovisual materials no later than Friday, September 18th so that we may preload them on the conference computers.

Fall is beautiful in mid-Missouri! It’s our (Carli & Rachel’s) favorite season! Traditionally, we enjoy weather that is in the mid-70s during the day and low 50s in the evenings.

For attire, we hope you will dress comfortably in business casual. We’ll have shuttles to and from all meals and events, and it is a beautiful walk to and from The Tiger Hotel. If you’re staying at the Marriott, it should be perfect weather to enjoy their outdoor patio and firepit.

Walking shoes and casual clothing are recommended for our Saturday excursions.

Just email your airfare and/or hotel receipts to csdr@missouri.edu by end of day on September 30, 2026.

You may submit all of your receipts, but you only need to submit receipts in the amount of (or just exceeding the amount of) the travel funds you were awarded.

Once we have your receipts, our business department will reach out to you and take it from there!
